Pretty common around the family farm, I can usually pish one onto a decent perch. This is the only warbler that creeps along branches and up and down tree trunks like a Nuthatch. Boldly striped on head, most of body, and under tail coverts. Males throat and cheeks are black in breeding plumage. Common in mixed woodlands.
