This old mule barn was considered an excellent example of an such a barn and was nominated for the National Register. It was not picked and is fast fading into disrepair. No longer used, it stands idle in the weather. Once it was in a family member. It is well known in the area and sad to watch it age and die. So I have a number of photos of it. I picked this sepia toned version as my first of the barn. I will also enter another with cotton in front of it later. The trees in this photo are pecan trees.
