Our Love.

I roll to my left
But you are not there
Your shadow passes through the night
Your scent remains on your pillow
Your kiss you place
I can still taste on my lips
And my thoughts of you ,
I carry with me throughout the day

As I am not there does not mean I don’t care
I can’t wait to come back to you
Hold you so tight
And my hands running through your hair

But the creases in my smile
These line tell a story
Remembering all those memories
As your shadow goes away
My open heart does leaps
And my thoughts a mist
But when left alone
I reminisce about that kiss
And your wild hands running through my hair

I love the idea of remembering the kiss as the touchstone to the memories, the last line really adds the last brushstroke of passion to the memory. Well done, love this.

  • Thankyou Tony, I appreciate it ;)
