Gorgeous early morning light at the Congress Avenue Bridge, Austin, Texas. This is a very famous bridge, as it is home to one of the on of the worlds largest urban bat colonies. Each night from March to November close to two million mexican free tail bats emerge from underneath the bridge and search up to a 20 mile radius feeding on up to 7000 insects (each) and return at dusk to snooze the day away in the crevices of the bridge.
