What a wonderful scene and a superb photo. I love the concentration in the horse’s expression. A cracker mate! Hugs, Peter
This picture wakes me up every morning and I have it as a wall paper on my computer screen. Even though we had the hurricane strike last fall and a drought all winter and spring, our wildflowers were as beautiful as I’ve never seen them before! This horse, in the bluebonnets, caught my eye driving down the freeway at 130KM/H. I came to a screetching halt in the middle of a freeway, almost got rear-ended, lucky I had my little DMC-TZ3 with the 280mm zoom because he was way in the back of the field! It was worth it! :D
What a wonderful image! The clarity of the horses and the burst of color in the flowers around them is beautiful!
A million thanks, Barbara, the Texas Bluebonnets bring so much joy to us in springtime and this year was just incredible, and throwing in the beautiful horse – well it’s just a wonderful bonus! :D marita
This photo is one of the reasons I always carry my little Pansonic-DMCTZ3 on me, caught this horse in the field in the corner of my eye driving down the freeway at 70MPH. Came to a screetching halt, almost got rear-ended, and thanks to that awesome little 280mm zoom on the little camera – I now have this favourite shot of mine :D…
You’re absolutely correct, Teresa! We’re just covered in wildflowers in springtime. The highway department actually seeds them and doesn’t mow the grass, so when travelling the highways and byways you’re just surrounded by colour everywhere!
