Artist's Description

This adorable black bear was munching on grasses along the trail. Watching this bear, going about its business, without anyone yelling at it just to take a picture was an awesome experience. A few fellow hikers and I patiently waited for the bear to look up before taking an image. None of us wanted to interfere with the bear’s calorie intake…rarely do I run into people who think about the animal’s well being in this manner. On the other hand, I often run into people yelling at animals for a picture with no consideration to its survival needs. Yes, I try to explain the consequences of such actions…changing the behavior of some citizens. For others, it takes the sight of a law-enforcement officer and a ding to their wallet :-)
