I started out as an artist, became a pilot, and ended up where I am now: nature photographer and educator. Being a pilot allowed me to observe the Earth and humanity’s impact on it from 30,000 feet for many years. It allowed me to experience different cultures and to see the world through many lenses.

Wow!!! Amazing!!
I am obsessed with dragonflies but cant NOT photograph them.. they are too quick for me.. even when they hover, as soon as I take the shot they’ve gone! lol!! Please tell me what is the secret to taking a great dragonfly photograph if you don’t mind me asking?

Thank you for the very kind words and welcome to RB, I’ve only been here a few months myself, but it’s lots of fun. As for photographing dragonflies, it takes a very fast focusing camera and a LOT of time. However, you could improve your chances with flash equipment for a macro lens or use a telephoto lens (for example, this image was accomplished with a 500mm lens). Hope this helps :-)
