Collided Symphony

Symphonies collide
And the drugs don’t work no more
The kids all hung out cool
Talking smack through opium lips

It wasn’t mean to be this way
Broken shell

The streets were crowded carousels
Long winding rollercoaster screams
Echoed in every conversation
And the music buzzed and swarmed our ears
Like locusts

Second hand smoke thoughts drift through my hair
Thoughts of you
So I shake them out
And when they are released
They become butterflies
Feathers, floating on the breeze.
