Children of the Stars

Cruel indigenous tortures
Creep sleepily
Through eerie shades of morning

Romantic realisations
Temptations
She is touching these deep run waters
And her touch
Marble smooth
Glides across me
Silken words caress
Like cashmere

She breathes, the world sighs
Love to catch the moon cry
Silently crying
Over her

Now, morning charges forth, a golden army
A charlatan whispers manufactured fairytales
to desperate darkness,
Where silent audiences rustle applause through
breeze blown leaves

Children of night
Children of morning
Children of the twilight hour
Come, join us
Our sweet mortal follies
Our human frailties

Dark, among the stars.

Where silent audiences rustle applause through
    breeze blown leaves
