Story Time

Story time is a special time for children. To this day, some 30 years later (shhhh) I still remember having those late night books read to me while I was nestled in the covers. What is that makes bedtime stories so magical? Is it the bonding? Or is it the world of fiction that you get to drift off into for the night? I think it’s all of it.
As a kid, books give us the means to experience things that we are not even capable of dreaming at such a young age. Don’t let yourself forget the great bedtime stories you were told as a kid. And never forget to share them with your children. Books build character and enable the imagination to grow.

Yes, my daughter still remembers and loves all her childhood books, she was reading 2nd grade books at age 4 1/2 and I know it was because she was read to every night. I miss it! I just ordered her some books we read from ebay to pass along to her children some day. It is magic! Great image !
