Inspired by the Flemish school of painting, I did a still life reflecting time and its passing. The scene is light by only one candle casting some beautiful shadows on the scene, and just highlighting the eye socket in the skull. The drapery of the fabric I think adds to the feeling of a Flemish painting.

flemish, style, renaissance, still life, candle, skull, hour glass, period, quill, ink well, old, book, sand, watch, pocket, drapery, parchment paper, dice, flame, dictionary, time, macabre

I guess I can classify my photography as classical, but with a contemporaneity point of view. My photographs are highlighted by strong vivid colors and strong lights and dark’s I am an Architect by profession but a photographer by passion.

A big Thank You to my loyal customers!
