This was taken of my husband Mack, on his way in to our house here in Kentucky. He was coming home with his new truck for the first time since he got it. He was tired, hungry and wanting a shower, but still stopped for a moment for me to take some photos of him. Anybody that knows anything about over the road drivers will understand how hard it was for him to be so close to the house and stop for his silly, but very proud wife to take photos of him. I am very lucky to be married to such a honest, hard working and loving man. This photo was taken 2 days before our 11th anniversary 4/7/2010
I took this with my Minolta Maxxum 5D DSLR using bracketing of 3 shots.. The post processing was with Photomadix.Pro 3 and also Orton effect for this photo.

I can imagine how good it would feel to come home after being on the road a long time. The effects are beautiful.

The orton effect adds to the fog and damp effect of the road. Wow, that’s a narrow road!!! You all had it all to yourselves? Is this your driveway? You did a fine job on this Melinda. Looks great!
