Pencil drawing done in 1992.
The 4lbs. brass weight has a Queen Victoria, VR, pre 1900, weights and measure Trading Standards mark, stamped in the lead seal in the base.
My daughter, who is a teacher, uses them in class as a teaching aid. There are 3 weights in total.
The small pewter whisky measuring jug has “20” stamped in it’s neck, I got it off a pub landlady. She was using it to put her turps in whist painting.
The Alnwick Brewery, green beer bottle is about a 100 years old and came from a old rubbish tip near Alnwick, in Northumberland.
