Cullercoats is just north of Tynemouth on the NE coast of England. The life boat station to the rear, is still there.

My main interest is painting Aviation Art.
I get a lot of enjoyment researching the historical background behind the picture I’ve been commissioned to paint.
I work in acrylic on my big paintings on canvas board but use water colors, pastels, soft and oil, for smaller pieces.
I also enjoy doing pet portraits in soft pastels on tinted paper, from photographs. Ideal presents for Xmas and birthdays.

I remember at Cullercoats you could buy a packet of shrimps from the fishwives sitting at front door with a little table infront of them ! but this was 50 odd years ago!
    Lovely executed watercolour Woodie !

Cullercoats hasn’t changed much over the years not like Whitley Bay. The Life boat Station is still there.
