Found this at Bowes Museum in County Durham, NE England when on a visit with my Art Club.
Usual low museum lighting!!!

My main interest is painting Aviation Art.
I get a lot of enjoyment researching the historical background behind the picture I’ve been commissioned to paint.
I work in acrylic on my big paintings on canvas board but use water colors, pastels, soft and oil, for smaller pieces.
I also enjoy doing pet portraits in soft pastels on tinted paper, from photographs. Ideal presents for Xmas and birthdays.

    Oh yes Neil we had them here in the States as well. My high school friend still rides one in parades and has had it since he was young passed down through his family. These hi wheel types during their hey day were the first to be called bicycles. ~ Sam
