Mosquito “Then Wooden Wonder” was very well armed with both 4 × .303″ machine guns and 4 × 20mm cannons. The nose also contained AI mk.IV, Air Interception radar. Crew of two, pilot and Navigator/Wireless Operator.
Built from scratch at Elvington, Yorkshire Air Museum.

My main interest is painting Aviation Art.
I get a lot of enjoyment researching the historical background behind the picture I’ve been commissioned to paint.
I work in acrylic on my big paintings on canvas board but use water colors, pastels, soft and oil, for smaller pieces.
I also enjoy doing pet portraits in soft pastels on tinted paper, from photographs. Ideal presents for Xmas and birthdays.

A real Beauty Neil…. Will she fly?
I don’t think so Michael. A great pity.

Woodie; A great photo of a great plane.
Making my living working with wood all my life, I have great affection for the old plywood Mossie – a very successful bit of joinery.
