My main interest is painting Aviation Art.
I get a lot of enjoyment researching the historical background behind the picture I’ve been commissioned to paint.
I work in acrylic on my big paintings on canvas board but use water colors, pastels, soft and oil, for smaller pieces.
I also enjoy doing pet portraits in soft pastels on tinted paper, from photographs. Ideal presents for Xmas and birthdays.

This is what I call good art. Show me how to paint clouds like those – PLEASE!

  • Hi Dave,
sorry for delay but I’ve been a bit busy. In 1977 I was just learning about painting clouds in acrylic. Trial and error!!!LOL

  • Hi Walt,
I saw a painting of this scene so I went and photographed the same scene. At home I painted it and personalised it with my wife’s name.
