My main interest is painting Aviation Art.
I get a lot of enjoyment researching the historical background behind the picture I’ve been commissioned to paint.
I work in acrylic on my big paintings on canvas board but use water colors, pastels, soft and oil, for smaller pieces.
I also enjoy doing pet portraits in soft pastels on tinted paper, from photographs. Ideal presents for Xmas and birthdays.

Never seen that before! I didn’t know that type – I know what it is, and I suspect this is the NF version – had its guns there. Thinking about it, it’s obvious they weren’t in the usual place. Learn something every day!

I won’t identify it, because I think some of the Americans especially might still find it challenging. The MkI/III tail unit is perhaps better known…

  • NFs had AI radar in the nose, and developed from the 2 seater trainer as a navigator was needed.

    I think there’s been a can strike…..

  • Many photos are ruined at these air museums by rubbish left lying around. I try and clone them out sometimes.
