This painting of HMS Beagle has been used in a Norwegian book on the Weather, called , Sjorapporten, by an ex RB member, Lars-Goran Nilsson. I received the 280 page hardback book today.

The “Marques” 117 feet long square rigger, sunk in 45 seconds, off Burmuda, (Triangle causality?) in The Tall Ships Race, 4th June 1984, with the loss of 19 lives.
Built in 1917, a a fruit trader, and rigged as a 3 mastered bargue in 1977.
