My main interest is painting Aviation Art.
I get a lot of enjoyment researching the historical background behind the picture I’ve been commissioned to paint.
I work in acrylic on my big paintings on canvas board but use water colors, pastels, soft and oil, for smaller pieces.
I also enjoy doing pet portraits in soft pastels on tinted paper, from photographs. Ideal presents for Xmas and birthdays.

You keep coming up with these gems Woodie. Beautifully painted – especially when we know the techincal details will be perfect. I love the reflected highlights under the plane.
Lovely work – as always – Woodie.
Really enjoy your aircraft paintings
Brilliant
great work, perfect composed, well done
I love works of man-made tech. in a background of nature. Love the mans work which I paint a lot, but no one can touch the beauty of the one who made it all. Great Painting!
i MUST GO AROUND WITH MY EYES CLOSED, it’s another one i haven’t seen and as usual anther masterpiece and just what we need for the group
Thanks Jim
It’s hard work and time consuming going through someone portfolio when they have more than a couple of pages. You are doing well considering you have only been on RB for a short while and already have formed a Group.
cheers Neil
