Halifax flying out of RAF St Davids, Wales, during WW2.
This aircraft “O” Orange, was lost over the Bay of Biscay
This was a commission by the wireless op’s nephew.
It’s companion painting was donated to the the Yorkshire Air Museum, Elvington, near the city of York.
