1940 RAF aircrew, "To Billy with love"(photo)

This photo is from “My Family Tree’s photo album”.
The man on the right(arrowed) in my mother’s cousin’s Billy, wife’s brother, Tom Bainbridge. or my 2nd cousin’s uncle by marriage. (I think?)
The 2nd WW started in Europe in 1939 and the RAF’s Bomber Command was already suffering heavy losses. This photo, taken in 1940, looks like they’d just finished training and were dividing up into bomber crews. I don’t know if Tom survived the war but his brother Billy, to whom this photo was sent, an air gunner in a Defiant didn’t.

1940 RAF aircrew, "To Billy with love"(photo) belongs to the following groups:

"Exceptional Ekphrasis", Aeronautics & Aviation, Days Gone By (Photographs must be twenty years or older and include people please), Military Related Art (Past or Present), The Family Album, (Pics From the Past ONLY), War and WARBIRDS

Excellent Picture of some of the Lads who fought in W.W.II. Will accept it into Warbirds as a tribute to them.
