Displayed at the Saratoga Automobile Museum, a 1928 Franklin Airman Series 12 Sport Sedan made for and owned by Charles A. Lindbergh, U.S. aviator; made first nonstop solo flight from New York to Paris, 1927. The Franklins’ powered by air-cooled engines and had all aluminum bodies. They were manufactured in Syracuse NY from 1902 thru 1934.
