GM built 12 units for their touring “Parade of Progress” they were basicly moving, self contained stages to present various GM oriented exhibits. Those were the days when, “What’s good for General BullMoose is good for the U.S.A. (Al Capp, Lil’ Abner)”. Just an aside… seems the brakes were not that good and on a regular basis the “Futurliners” would rearend each other.

Good one John. I closed the door when I took the shot (am I too bold?)

  • Thanks, you did it right, bold or not. What I didn’t do was get in closer to get the panel, it appealed to the “Monk” (neatness and such) in me. – John
