    oh so lovely John:)
(this is so similar to the gardens of Monserrate in Sintra, Portugal)

  • Thank you! The folks in Troy, I’m sure appreciate the comparison…. The city sometimes gets no respect. Thank for the favorite as well

    why doesn´t it get respect?

  • Troy, the Collar City, fell on hard times when the shirt makers left for a more advantagous, profitable, labor market. The home of “Uncle Sam”, turn of the century architecture, examples of Tiffany Glass through out the city, Sage College, etc. Troy, downtown, is a great walk with camera or sketch pad in hand.

have a look here John. It reminded me so much of Sintra, Monserrta Palace gardens.

Thanks John for the info. Humans change, the cities have to change too.

  • The powers that be seem to be awakking to the architecture around them and the potential for visitors, street fairs and the like.
