The Castle Bar is situated in Waterloo Street, Derry. This street is coming down with pubs, probably the best in the city for traditional Irish and rock music. The Castle is a very old bar. It’s back wall is part of the seventeenth century Derry Walls. Upstairs is said to be haunted by the ghost of a young girl.
If you look very closely you can see a bodhran (Irish drum) in the window. On the front of the bodhran is a picture of that famous Irish patriot, Che Guevara (he he).
