Heart Talk - Expectations
Sometimes our personalities are such that we become targets. The expectation is that because we are outgoing, beautiful or fun, that we will always be outgoing, beautiful and fun. Where is our escape?
This piece is about a friend of mine who recently suffered a loss in her family. She has been such a strength to everyone else, but I recognised in her the desire to escape from all the attention of onlookers and find her own private place to grieve.
This piece is in honour of the passing of her father and her heart talking to me.

This is a most beautiful work of art as well, it is a beautiful sentiment to your grieving friend at this most terrible time. May God bless your friend and her entire family in this trying time and give them the strength to accept what they can not change and to move forward in peace.

Thank you. He passed away with all his children around him and my friend singing Amazing Grace. It was a long battle with cancer, so a blessing that he is now in peace.
