Run No More

Run no more my weary friend
Your beautiful life has come
To an end

No more pain Your sorrow gone
But Paradise is where you have
Always belonged

One day I shall see your smiling face
Where fear and hate
Are all erased

You will never have to run again
All who enter
Will be a friend.

Lie down with the lamb and wait for me
And live in peace
For eternity

Artist's Description

I wrote this as a tribute to the wolves who have been trapped, snared, killed, chased from aircraft, tortured, clubbed to death as to not damage their “fur.”
