This is a close up of the inside of a rare Curtis-Wright Turbojet engine. They had a cutaway at the Glenn Curtiss Museum. I think the metal tabs are part of the air cooling system. Air would pass through them wicking away heat. I used a color-monochrome filter in Aperture add some dimension to an all grey image.

This is one of those images that I was just messing around with for fun, tossed it up to share on Zooomr and it instantly became one of my more popular images there. It surprised the heck out of me. Now I am going to put it up on redbubble to see if it flies there as well.
