This is a possible entry to the Apo Challenge 67 being held by dA’s f—l—A—r—k . It’s this month’s Pushing the Envelope Challenge and it’s a doozy! The rules were as follows:
Only one transform may be used. Crazy? Yes. Impossible? No.
A while back I (f—l—A—r—k) wrote a tutorial on how to make one-transform flames using the Disc variation. You’re free to learn from that, but I’m not posting it here because I want to encourage creativity and exploration with other variations. Who knows what we’ll find!?!
Well, this was my second attempt at this. It’s not as easy as it sounds. This is actually only one transform, one variation. That’s about as simple as it gets!
Made in Apophysis 7X v15 and postwork done in Serif’s PhotoPlus X4.
Here is another one made using a single transform with a single variation. I thought it ironic that these look like Day and Night.
(to be added in a minute).
Anyone else care to try the Single Variation Challenge?
Also, this reminds me of the beautiful song by Don McLean and beautifully redone by one of my favorite singers, Josh Groban (aka The Voice). Here’s his rendition of this lovely tribute to Van Gogh!
