Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas Card by

Here’s a card only version of my UF Christmas Tree with a little holiday greeting on the front. I don’t think I can put anything on the inside. That’s up to whomever buys and sends the card. I hope you like it.

Created in UF5 and postwork done in GIMP.

Full view for detail.

I am a recent fractal artist, just since 2008. I have fallen in love with this type of art because of the infinite variety of form, fabulous colors and great lighting effects that can be achieved. The software is mostly free and I dabble with most of them. If you enjoy fractal art, please take a look at my gallery. I would be thrilled if you stop by and say “Hi” and make a comment (or not)!

Another great image! I love your work, you have such a great attention to detail, I dont know how you do it!!

  • Thank you very much, Corrina! I’m delighted you enjoy my art. It’s not me that does it, actually, it’s the fractal generating software that creates the design, including the details. Some are more detailed than others. This one happens to have a fair amount of it.

Are you familiar with fractals at all. They’re an amazing art form and I would love to see more people learn about them. Since you are rediscovering your art, perhaps this might be a style you could enjoy. A lot of the fractal generating software is free and downloadable from the web and there are a ton of resources for a lot of them. If you’re interested, let me know and I can send you some links.

Wooooowwww!!! This is really an awesome fractal Christmas Card, dear! I did my first fractal and it was a big time consuming but I really enjoyed it! I’m still learning and ooops… there’s no “undo button” ??? :o( LOL…

  • Thank you so much! That’s a lovely thing to say! And I’m delighted to hear you made your first fractal!!! How wonderful! I saw it in your gallery just now! Lovely work and a wonderful start.
And, on some programs, there is an “Undo” button. I’ve been known to use it a few times myself. I call it the Oops button, just as you said.

Great job on this Christmas card Wolfepaw!!! I’ve never work with a fractal program, but always admired how wonderful the art is.

  • Thank you, Katy, for the wonderful compliment! If you’re interested in trying fractals out, there are a lot of free programs on the web. I can send you some links to the programs and also to some of the resources for them (tutorials, parameter packs, gradients, etc). They’re a lot of fun to play with and they are infinite in design. I just love them.

Dear SweetWolfePaw ;o) Thank you so much for fav-ing my first fractal work… That was a very basic one! You are the Master! Have a beautiful successful day, dear! Big hugs! xox :o)

  • It was my pleasure! Beginning to learn fractals is a daunting task and I think you did very well on your first try. Keep at it. They just keep getting better the more you do them. Have fun and, if you need any help, please let me know.
