This is a slight update to the original. I made the pink bubble opaque on the right (it was invisible in the original) and I did a little 3D effects on the pink bubble and the orange bubble on the left. I hope you like the changes.

This is my entry for the Apo Challenge 40 – No Plug-ins being held by dA’s f—l—a—r—k. This was a very interesting challenge. Here are the rules:

  • Variations: Only original variations, no plugins.
  • Maximum # of Transforms: 6
  • Final Transform: Not Allowed
  • Variation Limit: No variation may be used more than twice. (Forcing you to be a bit more creative)

So, this is mine.

Made in Apophysis 7X v14 and postwork in GIMP.

I am a recent fractal artist, just since 2008. I have fallen in love with this type of art because of the infinite variety of form, fabulous colors and great lighting effects that can be achieved. The software is mostly free and I dabble with most of them. If you enjoy fractal art, please take a look at my gallery. I would be thrilled if you stop by and say “Hi” and make a comment (or not)!

bright and beautiful, great depth! would look great printed very large…

  • Thanks for the lovely comment, Scott! Yes, I think I’d like to have a poster of this. When I feel low and run down, I’ll look at it and immediately feel effervescent!
