Introducing Scoop Neck Tees and Unisex Tanks — FIND OUT MORE

I finally got around to doing another collage. Since I seem to be making Apo food lately, I thought I’d have a “picnic” with it. So, here it is. All elements, with the exception of the grass, the gold bowl (with the “berries”) and the sky coloring and the water, are Apo fractals. Some were made in Apo 3D Hack and some made in Apophysis 7X 2010. I assembled the layers in GIMP. Trust me, there’s lots of layers.

I hope you’re hungry for fractals because that’s what we’re having at this picnic. Unfortunately, I don’t know how to do a fractal bottle of wine. Anybody want to bring the fractal wine to the picnic?

Full view for detail and there’s lots of detail.

Update 05-30-2010: This work has been featured in A Fractal A Day Keeps the Doctor Away! Thank you so very much. To be featured by this group is indeed an honor and I really appreciate the recognition of my work.

Update 06-02-10: My little picnic collage has been featured by Fractal Abstracts I’m so happy to have been recognized by this awesome group. Thank you very much!

I am a recent fractal artist, just since 2008. I have fallen in love with this type of art because of the infinite variety of form, fabulous colors and great lighting effects that can be achieved. The software is mostly free and I dabble with most of them. If you enjoy fractal art, please take a look at my gallery. I would be thrilled if you stop by and say “Hi” and make a comment (or not)!

  • I know they almost closed Bart’s as a working hospital but there was a bit of an uproar and they turned it into a cardiac and cancer care center. I’m glad to know that it’s still around. It was an amazing place. It was build before America was discovered. It boggled my mind to be working in a place that old. I had a great time while I was there. I’d love to go back.
