I am a recent fractal artist, just since 2008. I have fallen in love with this type of art because of the infinite variety of form, fabulous colors and great lighting effects that can be achieved. The software is mostly free and I dabble with most of them. If you enjoy fractal art, please take a look at my gallery. I would be thrilled if you stop by and say “Hi” and make a comment (or not)!

Beautiful work Peggi. The col0ouring is superb. One thing I have learned so far is just how important colour is. It can make or break an art work. :)

  • Thank you so much, Ann!! And, yes, I think color has a great deal to do with the overall impact of the image. I tend to use a lot of color in my fractals, though not everybody likes bright, vibrant colors. To each his own, I say!

Fractal Abstracts is having a special challenge. Give the Gift of Art! To be entered, work must be nominated by another member of the group, and I am nominating you! I hope you’ll enter this OUTSTANDING work! Sharing is Caring. So while you’re on the challenge page, check out the rules and nominate some artwork from your fellow members too! (Winning entry will be our avatar beginning March 1!)

  • Dear Ann, thank you so much for the nomination for the Challenge in Fractal Abstracts. Unfortunately, I can not enter this Challenge as I am a co-host of the group. Even though I haven’t been very active as a host, I am still listed as co-host for the group. But, thank you very much for the nomination! I really appreciate the support for my work!
