American legend and folk singer Arlo Guthrie came to town last night and put on the best show!!
He travels with his family who have started careers of their own singing and writing.
I never knew he came from generations of song writers and singers.
His dad “Woody Guthrie” wrote the song “this land is your land” which he performed.
His son, 3 daughters, grand children all sang with him..
one of his daughters, sings the “bad” songs which included such titles as “shit” and “I’m fertile”
all I can say if you want a good laugh and listen to some fantastic music Arlo Guthrie is the one to see.
I absolutely loved his stories of Woodstock and growing up in the Guthrie family.

Wonderful shot of an american icon as far as I’m concerned. Having lived through the Alices Restaurant, and Alice doesnt live here any more day…..he still has that little spark doesnt he…..me thinks Woody would be proud!
I am sure he is. I got some great shots of him and his family and you can see the love they all have for each other. what great parents they are to their babies, and how much fun they were all having on stage.
