Star and Vadan mutual grooming, horses love to bond this way, they enjoy the grooming of each other. These two are best of friends and can be seen to do this often. Sometimes they will do this to you if you give them a good scratch but it hurts like hell. It is nice to get so close to them and have their trust so sometimes I just put up with the pain.

What a touching and heartwarming photo! Soooo nice and they are both such gorgeous horses and such in contrast to each other. Great photography, you can even see the rippling muscles in their necks .. plus, nice bokeh too! Interesting, as I have always had a fondness for light-colored and white horses and very dark and black horses so you have both my favorites covered here with Star and Vadan…I think this is one of the nicest images I have seen in a long time… just something so pure and natural about the love and understanding between another species, isn’t there?
