Clydesdale x Max has nice rest in the field, he is 20 years young now and enjoys his time relaxing. Shot with a panasonic lumix camera, i thought i would get a little point and shoot to carry with me everywhere so as not to miss pics like this one, the bigger canon and kit gets a bit heavy going sometimes.

Hi I have a passion for all things in nature, love photography and like to do some editing work in photoshop and other editing software. I love animals and have a special affection for horses so you will see lots of those in my portfolio. Birds are another of my passions. I hope you enjoy looking through my world. Thank you.

That forelock and mane is incredible! I see he’s still shod, so does this mean he’s still working a bit?

  • thanks Enivea, Max is fully retired from work and has been for three years. He has a poorly hind leg and is shod in a wedged shoe to help him stay comfortable and he gets a bit footsore if left without shoes anyway. No one knows how he got the bad leg, he just went lame one day and has been ever since. He has had the same home since being 3 years old and has had a very easy life.
