Better viewed large
I was fortunate to get a clear shot of this Catbird. Often they are buried so deeply in the thicket that they are more often heard than seen. Three juveniles are at the back of my property line and have taken a liking to the various berries in the open. As their name suggests, Catbirds sound much like a cat and can mimick other birds and sounds as well. Canon EOS 7D, 400mm f5.6L USM, tripod. Photographed in Clarence-Rockland, Ontario, Canada.
