i love the simplicity of an open landscape. the light falls in Dutch Master beauty here. the old rotted gate is superbly positioned as starting point for the eye. the rustic earth tones work for me. well done.

A wonderful location and well composed Wendy, the lighting and weather have an amazing effect on the landscape at Kirkstone Pass and that makes it such a great place for photography.
Love the contrast between that heavy sky and the warm tones of the Seasonal landscape,

What an interesting photo. The soft look works well for this image. The composition with the fence in the bottom corner anchors perfectly the view up the valley. I could almost feel the rough timber under my arm while looking into this photo. Fantastic and an instant favourite
