I have often been asked why do I like horses so much. Look into one’s eyes.
There you will see generations of horses who have served the humans for thousands
of years faithfully for nothing in return.
Beaten horses, starved hoses, horses who no longer possess a spirit.
They deserve to be loved and respected as much as humanly possible.
Let them run free again. Let them no longer be faithful beasts,
but embrace them as you would a dear friend, for that is what they are.
“You took me to adventure and to love. We two have shared great joy and great sorrow. And now I stand at the gate of the paddock watching you run in an ecstasy of freedom, knowing you will return to stand quietly, loyally, beside me.

This is really beautiful! xxx So very sorry for your loss of your dear companion – I can imagine how heartbroken you must be! I always say to friends at times like this to try and remember all the happy times that you shared together and the love that you gave and received. I honestly believe that we will meet again with our departed loved ones – I think that they wait for us in a wonderful place until we are reunited once again. Hugs xxx
