The Party Is Over
You have been traveling down a one way street.
That will only take you to your personal defeat.
It all starts out having fun with your friends
but it doesn’t take long until the parting ends.
Your life gets hard, your funds get low,
depression begins to creep in slow.
You have warn yourself out, your body is tired.
Your brain is warped yet, you keep getting wired.
Your party has lasted a little too long.
No one will listen to your sad twisted song.
Now you are traveling a little to fast
and it’s about time to make this all part
of your past.
You are near the end
What will you do?
Drive on… Drive off…

Interesting concept, especially considering that most ghostly hitchhiker stories are at night. I love the bright colours and how the lines of the road lead your eye to the ghostly image and how the whiteness kind of contrasts against the saturation of the background

Wonderful job. I think we could all use this in our own lives also. We get caught up in work and ourselves. Don’t forget to stop and smell the roses. Keep in touch with the people who love you because they are the ones that will be there for you when you are down and out. I thought of many things besides drugs and booze when I came across this.
