Sun Spots by wiscbackroadz

Here in southern Wisconsin we’re in our longest of the 4-season’s…winter. With winter comes endless days on end where we never get to see the sun or feel it’s warmth. Winter is also a time when i feel deprived of color. I needed to create something cheery and colorful to help mask the drab cold winter that lies just beyond my window.

Artwork created using 2 photographs, processed using Corel Paintshop Pro Ultimate Photo X2.

This is great my friend …..just beautiful all wonderful all love Normaje

  • Thank you NormaJean…i’m really getting into these “sunny” artworks. Being winter up here in the northern hemisphere we dont get to see the sun very often so they kind of make me think “warm” thoughts :-)

Totally cool, Dennis! What a bright, sunny and warming work. (We need that!) Very creative, indeed.

  • Thank you for the nice compliment Mike…i agree. We have’nt seen the sun here in southern Wisconsin for quite a few days now. Counting the days until springtime and the sun returns again to warm us

Really cheerful and motivating; your combination of colors give it that special punch! I’ve got a fairly long gig in the classroom with students that love to devalue my every move, breath and general being :-) This, of course, means a self-imposed hiatus from art/photography, so I need the extra spiritual lift! At least it’s not minus 15 degrees down here, whew!

  • What a nice compliment, thank you Randi…i’m glad i was able to lift your spirits up :-)
