It was a rather gloomy rainy day in southern Wisconsin yesterday. We had driven down to Milton to have our rummage sale but the weather did’nt cooperate with us. Between the breaks in the rain clouds i set off on foot down the tracks behind my sisters home. By the time i reached this bend in the tracks i felt like i was a thousand miles from nowhere…..

Love the angle of the shot and the pretty little wildflowers. I does look like a nice quiet uncomplicated place. Nice to get away from it all sometimes.

  • Thank you Dot…..There was actually houses on both sides of the tracks and dogs were barking lol…..did you notice the squirrel? I did’nt until i enlarged the photo lol….

  • Thank you Cookie…..I’ve seen other peoples captures of railroad tracks and thought how neat some of them were. I was’nt really sure what to think of this shot until i started playin’ around with it
