CanonEOS40D EF100-400 f4.5-5.6L IS USM
f/5.6 1/160 ISO 100 @ 300mm RAW Cropped

Taken at Sweetwater Ponds, Tucson Arizona.
FEATURED July 31 2010 in Arizona Hot Spots.

The Harris Hawks usually are seen from across the road sitting in the trees or on the power poles. On this day I was lucky that this adult decided to give us a close view right at the ponds.

  • Thank you. I felt so lucky. He was so close and so co-operative. He stayed in that tree for the longest time.
