I love photography because it captures my point of view at any given moment in any given place.

I have loved photography for 41 years, since an advisor put a Yashica MAT124G in my hands and turned me loose as the staff photographer for our 1968 yearbook in my senior year of highschool. Finances kept me very limited until my first SLR (Ricoh XR-2S and KMount lenses) in the 1970s, which I stil use today. I stepped into the digital age in 1999 with a Sony Mavica 1mp, and have gone through various upgrades until last year, I purchased a Pentax K10D and a number of AF lenses.

I enjoy views off the beaten path, around the next bend and down any blue highway nearby.
