OK…I believe you that there’s a wooden walkway. Lovely image of something we don’t see around here at all. The trees are almost feathery with snow.

;o) there is a wooden pathway across the meadow to keep people from trampling all through it is actually just under those tracks. The year this was taken was a good year, snow with good water content, and there is nothing more beautiful than winter in Yosemite!!! (I’m a little prejudiced though) Thank You Gipsy

Thank You Worldtripper!!! Yosemite National Park is gorgeous in winter, and as you said, “pristine” after a snowfall. It is unlike any other place I have seen in winter. Thank You also for the Congratulations, I sincerely appreciate it!!!
