Cameras and photography captured my interest years ago as a child with my little Brownie. The cameras have changed over the years until the Digital age when I got really serious about photography. Not only has my work improved, but it has opened many doors to meeting wonderful people along the way. New friendships and learning new skills… I am hopeful that some of my best work is yet to come.

so very pretty. the pink flowers pop off the white pickets.
I just love these old fashioned magenta flowers in front of the picket fence. It just says “cottage style” so well.

Now do I ever have memories of white picket fences! I painted those every other year for an aunt in Calgary…until they had to be replaced and then started all over again…till I could see them in my sleep!! This one haunts me! Lol!!! Seriously, these are gorgeous!!
hahha, you are so funny, Blair. My first picket fence I designed myself and we put up 17 sections that were 8 feet long. We had built a jig at the recommendation of a friend, but it made it very easy to replicate the exact design. We also built , many to sell at my nursery. What I didn’t take into consideration, was the painting factor. The first time was a good three coats, then having to repaint the following years was a daunting task. Now I see many that are made of plastic and I can see how much easier that must be. All you have to do is gently wash them down each year. How infinately easier. As much as a pain that they were to maintain, I still love them. LOL!
