This charming seaside cottage in Carmel-by-the-Sea was for sale when I was visiting in May of 2007. I still dream of living here. Carmel is the most charming city in America. you would need to come and stay for at least a week to see everything, but as you leave, you will be dreaming of returning as soon as possible. It sits overlooking the Pacific Ocean and has such a temporate climate, comfortable all year ’round. They only get about 18 inches of rain annually, but it also gets 161 days of fog.
I want to thank everyone who has come by to see this photo and to add it to their favorites. I am happy to see that so many people would love to have this as their dream house as well. It will always have a magical quality to me.

Another fabulous Carmel cottage.

Cameras and photography captured my interest years ago as a child with my little Brownie. The cameras have changed over the years until the Digital age when I got really serious about photography. Not only has my work improved, but it has opened many doors to meeting wonderful people along the way. New friendships and learning new skills… I am hopeful that some of my best work is yet to come.

Yeah, wouldn’t that be nice! Maybe after we make our first few million! lol Beautiful shot!
Oh yes, how right you are. It is very expensive in this charming village by the sea. I recall this one being up for sale and often dream of how lovely it would be to live here.

I have seen this cottage many times……what a great job you did of framing and showcasing this lovely place.
Thank you Elizabeth. I did not realize that it was so famous, but I have had it in my Webshots album for about a year and a half. I cropped it down for RB and I think that I like it alot better. Just seems to spark the imagination when you cannot see the entire house.
