New Kitty song...Update

I was over at Animal Rescue helping a friend find a cat as she had never had a cat before and did not know what to look for. As I was greeting the other cats and talking to them, this little one found me. Honestly!!! She just told me she wanted to come home with me. She sang in my ear the most lovely purr, gave me little kisses and I was helpless to say no. What a little Love Montster she is. It was an instant connection of the hearts.
So, this is where I would love it if you would help me choose a name for her. Here are some of the names I like, please can you tell me which name you think fits her.
Maggie, MacKenzie, Makena, Calypso, Jessie or Olivia.
Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Update! Thank you to all of you who submitted your votes for my newest kitty. I thought this was lots of fun and the response was outstanding!!! Some of you even threw in some more exotic names and old favorites. Thank you all! There were over 100 responses and the name Maggie won out with twice as many votes as any other name. So she is named Maggie MacKenzie. I had not thought about using MacKenzie as a last name, but more than one person suggested it and it just makes me smile. Kind of goes along with Murphy Moustache. As I write this, she is sitting right here in front of me and I am certain she is happy with her new names. Please meet Miss Maggie MacKenzie!

A lovely photo Majorie, of a beautiful little cat with wonderful, wise eyes. I seriously think you should ask her what she wants to be called – try the names and see what her reaction is. And let us know what she chooses.
Marjorie Wallace
Thank you, Jenny. I have tried that. She responds to everything I say to her. Not many cats come when they are called, but she does. LOL!

Lovely cat, she actually looks like she has had kittens of her own at some point. I like Makena. I love names that are unusual and different =P
Marjorie Wallace replied
Thank you, Danielle. I appreciate your comments. I was thinking that too, but I was told that she is only five months old. She is a little girl.
Gloria Abbey
Congratulations on your new little girl. She really looks like a sweetheart. I like both Maggie and Olivia, so I guess I’m not going to be too much help. I’m anxious to hear what name you finally pick for her.
Marjorie Wallace replied
Thank you Gloria for your suggestions. I will be running the voting until tomorrow evening. Maggie is clearly in the lead at this point, but one never knows until the voting is done. LOL!

How many cats does this make now, Marjie? My neighbor Mike has a cat that he obviously adores even though she spends most of her time at my yard. He named her “Furry Butt”. I would probably go with Maggie myself… How about Maggie Magill? You can call her Lill, but everyone will know her as Nancy.
Marjorie Wallace replied
Weeellllll, I guess this makes six kitties. She just spoke to me and I knew that she wanted to come home with me. She has already made friends with Murphy. They will both be the youngest AND the most playfu. Your neighbor is very funny. “Furry Butt?” That is just too funny. I wonder if she answers to that name?
Clark Thompson
Regretably… yes.
Marjorie Wallace replied
So unfortunate how those names stick. LOL!
Lucindawind
did you name her yet ? she is just adorable!!
Marjorie Wallace replied
Thank you, Elaine. Yes, we have named her Miss Maggie MacKenzie. Maggie was far and above the most nominated name. I am off and running again today, but will try and get some good photos to post later on. Hugs, xxx
