A Tree and The World

I was talking to myself on a particularly breezy day watching the leaves of a tree, then told myself a story.

A Tree and The World belongs to the following groups:

All Out Emotion, All Things Poetic, Artistic, Philosophical, Bits and Pieces , Core [C.O.R.E], Lesbian and Bi-Women's Art, Live, Love, Dream: , Masterpieces: Literary Workshop, Nerds Unite, Up & Coming Writers and WMG

Have you ever looked at a tree?
Not just look at it, but really look,
Watching the leaves as they flow and flutter
Gently in the breeze.

If you have, did you notice that,
All of the leaves were moving in their own direction?
Yeah maybe they’re all going the same general direction,
But not the exact same way.
Each have their own path to follow,
Even though each one is riding the same wind,
Their edges catch, and they twist and flitter,
Creating a pattern all of their own.

Its as if each leaf has its own personality,
Some violently shivering,
Others gently gliding.
As if they were all different people.
We all are different,
We all have our paths,
And those paths intertwine others,
Just like leaves shift over and under each other.
This is how the world was meant to be.

The next time you look at a tree,
Don’t just think of it as a tree,
Think of it as the world.

    Solid true…
    yes… I have.
    And have looked around
    the Tree of Life.
    Yes… one rest there
    others fall…at a different path.
Loving meaning in your poem….words clear as leaves clean with droplets of true Life.
